This function will return the inventory cost movement (monetary) for the selected Cost, store and period.
The arguments are as follows:
Company: This is the path to your Pastel data directory. For example:
c:\PastelData\_demo would enable you to retrieve information from the Pastel Partner demo company.
Category: Enter the item code that you wish to return the cost value for. Category codes where not available in Pastel prior to Version 6, so for version 5.2 this would be the inventory group.

Period: This should be one of the of the period keywords shown below.
Month x - return the cost value for the month specified
Year to Date x - return the cost value up to and including the period specified.
Last Year - will return the cost for last year
This will return the cost value for this year up to period 5 for Category 001 for store code CT.
ICCATCost( "c:\PastelData\_demo", "001", "CT", "Year to Date 5" )
This will return the cost value for month 3 for the Category code 002 and store CT.
ICCATCost( "c:\PastelData\_demo", "002", "CT", "Month 3" )
NB: The cost calculate will be based on the stock movement for the period and the average cost for that period. |
