The following list details the functions used to retrieve General Ledger Balances from Pastel Data.

CatTitle( Company, Financial / Report Category, Report or Financial )

Returns the description of the given financial or report writer category

CBBalance( Company, Account, Period, ValueType )

Returns the cash book balance for the specified Bank Account (home or foreign currency)

GLBalance( Company, Account, Period )

Returns the balance for the given account and period

GLBudget( Company, Account, Period, BudgetType)

Returns the budget for the given account and period

GLDetails( Company, Account, FieldToReturn )

Returns master field value for the given account

GLFin( Company, FinancialCategory, FromPeriod, ToPeriod, ThisYear )

Returns the balance for the given financial category between the given period range

GLFinBudget( Company, FinancialCategory, Period, BudgetType )

Returns the budget for the given financial category between the given period range

GLFinBudgetHist( Company, FinancialCategory, Period, YearNo )

Returns the budget for the given financial category between the given period range and also historical year

GLHistBal( Company, Account, Period, Year )

Returns the historical balance for the account, period and year number

GLHistBud( Company, Account, Period, YearNo)

Returns the historical budget for the account, period and year number

GLJobCost( Company, Account, CostCode, Period )

Returns the balance for transactions flagged with the specified cost code and posted to the indicated account

GLRep(Company, ReportCategory, FromPeriod, ToPeriod, ThisYear )

Returns the balance for the given report writer category between the given period range

GLRepBudget(Company, ReportCategory, FromPeriod, ToPeriod, ThisYear )

Return the budget balances using Pastel's Report Writer Category

Returns the historical budget balances using Pastel's Report Writer Category
